Procedure to apply Gingerbread Cyanogen Mod Firmware on HTC Evo 3D:
- Download Cyanogen Mod for HTC Evo 3D, Latest Google Apps for your HTC Evo 3D phone in your computer and once you are done with this downloading you will then have to move the files to your phone which you can do by connecting the phone with the help of the USB cable.
- Please note that you should ensure that you are not placing these both files deep inside any of the sub folders or else you will be facing issues in the recovery mode where you need to find these files for installing the same.
- Once you enter into the recovery mode, you will now have to choose the “backup and restore” option which creates the backup of the current installation on the HTC EVO 3D device. Once it’s done, you now need to choose the option of “Wipe data / factory reset” option and also another option which is “Wipe cache partition” so that all unwanted as well as the corrupted data slug will be removed from the phone.
- Once the above step is completed, you will now have to select “install zip from SD Card” and select “Choose zip from SD Card” after which there will be a list of files shown which are there in the phone out of which you need to choose the file which is named as “7.1.0-RC1-Supersonic-HTCEvo3D.zip” and also after that choose the file “Google Apps Zip File” so that all the Google applications are installed successfully.
- Now, after this you need to elect the option of +++++Go Back++++ and then select “Reboot System Now” to restart the phone and there you go you have now successfully updated the phone with the latest Cyanogen Mod 7 version. ROM Manager method:

So, as soon as the zip files are successfully installed in the phone, you will now need to select the option of “+++++Go Back+++++” after which select “Reboot System now” for restarting the phone and there you go you are now done with the process of updating the phone with the latest version of Gingerbread.
