MIUI seems to be becoming the new favorite after Cyanogen Mod 9 firmware releases and on the similar lines, we will be checking out on how one can easily update the latest version of v2.5.18 in your all new HTC One X smartphone. Before you proceed to install this firmware, one has to ensure that HTC One X is Rooted and installed with Clock Work Mod recovery image. Please note that this is not an Official firmware update released by HTC and is a custom ROM firmware. Once the device is rooted and installed with the custom recovery image, the warranty gets void. The only way with which one can revoke the root access is by re applying the official update.
