How to Update HTC Rezound with 99% Stable ICS Android 4.0.1 Custom ROM Firmware

Procedure to Update HTC Rezound with ICS Android 4.0.1 Firmware:

  • Download Clean ROM Android 4.0.1 Firmware Zip from here to your computer, as soon as you download you need to copy the same to your phone by connecting the phone to the computer.
  • After copying, remove the connected USB cable and turn Off the phone to start the phone in the HBoot recover mode. The recovery mode in HTC Rezound can be entered by pressing  Volume UP Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. Please note that just in case if the device boots up in the normal mode, you need to again try entering into the recovery mode.
  • HTC rezound Recovery Mode
  • In boot loader mode, you need to select the “Recovery” to enter the device in the recovery mode. Now, in the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the file which you have downloaded and placed the same in your phone.
  • As soon as firmware is updated, you will again land up to the recovery mode screen. In the recovery mode select “++++ Go Back ++++” > “reboot system now” for restarting the device in the ICS Android 4.0.1 firmware.

Tip: Restore the backup of all the data which you have made so as to ensure that all the apn settings as well as other crucial data is restored.

    Ok… So I have NANDROID or something on my phone and I rooted and now on android 4.0.3 by But I dont like it: unstable and I cannot get any other image/ROM to work….

    GRRRRRRRRRRRR…. How can I get back to Stock or to this one (ABOVE) that looks way better?

      yes nandroid backup is recommended!

        i just installed CLOCKWORK MOD and flashed my recovery… Now I am going to try and install the above 4.0.1…. I hope this works….. AAHHHHHHHHHHHHH… scarey… backing up my existing ROM first though.
