How to Update HTC Rezound with Official ICS Android 4.0.3 Firmware

htc rezoundHTC Rezound users can now breathe easy when it comes to the ICS Android 4.0 update as in the due course of this article we will be checking out on how you can easily apply the update of ICS 4.0.3 Firmware. Please note that this is the Official leaked version of ICS which got leaked and is having the version number as 3.13.605.7. Since this update is not pushed officially either by OTA or via HTC Sync, you need to apply this update manually.

    I think this is the case, but is don’t add the file extension to the windows users who hide the file extension (given this is done automatically for known file extensions now)? I am guessing this because the “install zip from sd card” but want to make sure before I brick this thing lol.

    This guide needs alot of correction it needs to be titled to work and to get to the boot loader mode use volume down and the power button at the same time. Those are the biggest problems I had. It went fairly smooth after that

    If i do the upgrade and do not root my phone, will i still be able to get ICS OTA if its higher than the current version i set up
