Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 India users are now just a step away from the latest Jellybean 4.1.1 OS version of Android as Officially Samsung has come up with an official update of ICS 4.0.4 firmware which fixes most of the bugs pertaining to the battery charge and promises to fix all the camera woes along with the issues of force close errors. This update comes as a surprise for all those who were waiting for the Jellybean 4.1 update but as per our close sources very soon Galaxy Note will be getting the Jellybean update. The latest update of ICS 4.0.4 has been rolled out via KIES, but just in case if you haven’t got an update via KIES then we have mentioned a detailed guide on how to apply this update manually.

SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log - Call Log and Restore
Images, Songs, Videos, Files – Copy to internal / External SD Card,
APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”
Download Drivers for Galaxy Note from here. 32 bit (x86) Windows | 64-bit (x64) Windows. Minimum battery charge left in the phone should be at least 50% so as to ensure that device doesn’t get turned Off in the middle of firmware update.
Enable the KIES Mode from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > KIES Mode” so as to make sure that the device is detected correctly in the Odin.
Note for Advanced Users:
