How to Update MIUI Custom ROM Firmware in LG Optimus Me P350 – Tutorial
Lucky time continues for the users of LG Optimus Me P350 as it was the last time when we saw on how you can update with the latest RC of Cyanogen Mod 7.2 and now in this article we will be discussing on how you can update with the latest MIUI Custom ROM firmware which again is one of the best handsets. Please note that this is not an official firmware released by LG Electronics and also this is a custom Rom firmware released by third party developer. Please be informed that since it’s not a fully stable version yet and is a release candidate, there will be some bugs which we will be solved in the coming versions. In the process of this article we will be discussing on what are the list of pre requisites along with a detailed tutorial on how to apply this firmware.

Notes – Backup in the mail so that you can then restore manually,
SMS Messages – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts Stored in Phone Memory – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log - Call Log and Restore Videos,
Images, Videos & Files etc.– Copy to internal / External SD Card,
Internet & MMS Settings – Backup all the settings from “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”
- Minimum battery charge left in the device should be a minimum of 60% so as to ensure that the phone doesn’t get turn Off in the middle of firmware update.
- All antivirus suites in your computer including the Firewalls should be disabled, while all the antivirus apps in your LG Optimus Me p350 should be uninstalled as these tools may interrupt the process of firmware updation.
- Rooting of LG Optimus Me P350 & Installation of Custom Recovery image is a must before you proceed to follow the instructions.
- Enable the USB debugging in your LG Optimus Me P350 from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. The USB Debugging option should be ticked. You can refer to the below image for more details on how to activate the USB Debugging in your device.
