as of now China doesn’t have the Android Market Place access due to some reasons! As soon as this is updated we will surely come up with a way for the same!
the update worked great as with others I was not able but after rebooting the telephoen is not starting and looping with Samsung logo and China unicom logo but not restarting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What’s wrong???????????????????

just update the zip file only once and not the twice, you have extracted the tar file and so does you are getting these files!

We recently bought the Samsung Galaxy S2 I900T, and wanted to update it to the chinese firmware, we get the same error message with the modem bin part.
don’t understand the solutions mentioned above.. help please.. I can access the download page by taking the battery out and pressing the down button and power button, otherwise i also get the bricked screen.
check with updating from other PC, admin rights issue is there in your current pc!
so if you update this chinese firmware, do you still have the android app market or you will lose it??
