How To Update Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 with XWKJ3 Gingerbread 2.3.5 Firmware
It was the last time when we saw on how you can apply the update of XWKI8 Gingerbread 2.3.5 version and now in this article we will help you in updating your Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100. Though there are not many visual changes which you can see in this version of firmware but there many performance fixes which have been done so as to facilitate better Internet speed on the stock browser and also some of the kernel components have been changed so as to deliver slightly better battery performance. While updating this my hp got error message saying failed.Then I disconnected the phone even on the set saying its downloading mode.Now when I try to restart back the phone it won’t.Just black screen with phone and pc icon showing ‘!’. What should I do now?Please advise

After dowloading the firmware of 2.3.5 to my mobile galaxy s2 i start to enter in to the recovery mode.
I tried the instructions as given by pressing the UP key of volume and POWER ON button. not even single time it is entering into recovery mode .

1. My SII has got a problem of not able to send /receive call sometimes. it happens once in 2/3 days. all other thing looks fine just cant call or brows through GPRS. this is not a carrier’s problem as SIM is working fine in other handsets. It happens only with Galaxy SII. Is it any kinda application/settings issue. when problem occurs….flight mode hangs up and Mobile Network Stat syas “connecting”

Can I install this firmware on custom rom without having to wipe? I have too much stuff on my phone and i dont want to risk doing risky backup that might not work when i install new firmware. I cant use zip installer from CWM to install it on a custom rom either right?

after the download, shut down and recovery wipe cache, wipe data/factory reset . it still comes up showing 2.3.5, not 2.3.6 .
