    i have purchased samsung S2 GT-9100G from france.
    i got a pink spot/tinge on camera screen, it also come on pics i clicked.
    i tried to update via kies, but it says i have latest firmware update on my phone
    can you tell me how do i fix it?

    my phone has baseband version I9100 xxkfi and it’s supporting arabic language.so if i upgrade my phone following your article will it support Arabic language??!!

  4. my problen can’t go to down load mode,
    The download mode can be entered by pressing Volume down Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button.
    i try many time to go download mode, but no work why?
    the screen view low battery!! can’t download!!

    I have some queries which I’d like to know.
    I purchased this phone two months back from India and it’s pre installed android version is 2.3.3,
    Now if i update my phone with this firmware will it void my manufacturer warranty?
    And is this the official release or some sort of beta version of original 2.3.5?

    I ave a 9100g version and want to root it.. the problem is which modified/unsecure kernel should i use??? i am running 2.3.6 and kernel version shows:
    2.6.35.7

    I’m going to do this for the first time….. Just want to ask you something….. Before doing this do I have to remove the SIM card and External SD ???…. And how much time would it take to complete the update ???….

    After I install this update, will I be able to upgrade my phone at the time when Samsung officially releases the update.
