How to Update Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 with Arabic Gingerbread 2.3.6 Firmware

- If you are on any of the custom ROM firmware, then you need to first turn Off the phone and enter into the recovery mode. The recovery mode can be entered by pressing Volume UP Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. You can also refer to the below mentioned video to know more on how to enter into the recovery mode.
- In the recovery mode select Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition and then reboot your device by selecting reboot system now option.

I update my official rom froyo to GB 2.3.6 but the data still not change or delete and all programmes still without any change
but when go to setting — about phone — the frimware is 2.3.6 so the update done right or I should make that”In the recovery mode select Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition and then reboot your device by selecting reboot system now option”

1-Samsung gt-I9003 that is what written on the back of my phone under the battery ,firmware froyo 2.2.1 is it the same one you are talking about in this article. If anything went wrong is it possible to restore the original firmware using kies.
2-will it have only arabic language in it, what about english.

seems like you are flashing on the n/w locked device!
after installing gingerbread 2.3.6 jpkpe or xxkpq on GT-I9003 the device restart Automatically (still make restart and can’t log in till i press the Power Button) after log in it made factory reset Automatically (all this repeated not one time).
before installation this issue happens but without factory reset it was(FROYO)
