I’ve tried XXKP9 but this FW eat my battery much more than my earlier FW (ZCKA7) !

camera not working with android 2.3 gingerbird

I downgraded to the original version my galaxy came with after using ginerbread for a while… but the camera is still not working …
my firmware is JPKD1.. its an arabic version… rest of the OS is acting normal so far, no lags etc, except the camera… camera does not work.. please help man
