I recently updated to ICS but i noticed that my phone now is very laggy and decided to downgrade back to gingerbread. Is it possible to just follow these instructions directly and install cyanogen instead of ICS?

for all those having the issue of “fast boot, bad command or file name” or something along those lines in dos/cmd …try running the command from where fastboot.exe is on your pc…you wil need he android sdk package (google it), then in cmd.exe you need to navigate to that folder, etc….

(note, commands in lowercase, uppercase what should be on screen on your pc..ish)

    C:WINDOWS\ cd\
    C: cd\Program Files\Android\Android sdk\tools
    …….\tools fastboot etc etc

I have decided to give it a try.
I am now trying to unlock the bootloader, so I came to the step where I need to enter this line in the command prompt”fastboot -i 0x0fce getvar version” After I enter it I get the following message: ‘fastboot’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
Do you have any idea of what might have gone wrong?
        Thanks in advance!
