I’m wondering the same – and if this method allows one to revert back to Verizon’s stock build.

Greetings…In my effort to follow the article’s instructions – I found two elements that I could not make work.  Granted it could be a function of my ignorance…

The first relates to the Galaxy Nexus Tool Kit instructions.  We are directed to copy the ‘ file’ to the phone’s root.  I did not find an update zip file within the downloaded Tool Kit file structure.  What may I be doing wrong?

The second relates to the download of Google Apps.  When clicking on the ‘Google Apps’ hyperlink within the article I end up getting a  “No results found for” message.  I reviewed the properties of the hyperlink, copied and pasted into the Google Chrome browser and received the same response.

So…I am befuddled.  Would very much appreciate your guidance.  Many thanks for your hard work.
