Now, almost everyone knows that Facebook has acquired Whatsapp for $19 billion earlier this year. At the MWC 2014 that was held in Barcelona, Whatsapp their plans of introducing VoIP calls in the second quadrant of this year. We know many other messengers supports voice callings, but Whatsapp was missing this support, so many Whatsapp users will be eagerly waiting for this feature to come soon on to their device, as an Italian blog were able to get their hands on the latest version of Whatsapp with voice calling support.
The Italian blog were able to take some screen shots from Whatsapp for iOS that supports the voice calling and posted them on their blog. They also reported that you can make calls from Whatsapp just by going to the app and open the Whatapp chat where you will be find a call button, which has to be clicked to make calls to anyone who is in your chat list.
With the current version of the application we can make calls from Whatsapp but it was a regular call that will cost us, but this update will bring free call just by using your 3G data or Wi-Fi. While you are on a call you have the option of muting the call or put on speaker and even go to the chat screen also. The update will also bring some tweaks like moving the camera icon and bringing it before the voice note making it easier to send photos or even videos on the go.
All the screen shots were taken from iOS device and we will be seeing the same on the Android devices soon as this update is being tested on the iOS device for now. Other details about this updates has not come up but we can expect many new features also.
