Wickedleak Launches Wammy Ethos Android 4.0 ICS Tablet – Specs & Features

WickedLeak has announced the launch of Wammy Ethos which is yet another Android tablet based on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. This tablet introduces additional functions like voice calling and 3G support and it’s slated to be launched on July 25 with direct availability. Just like its predecessor it would be a 7 inches tablet again with 800 x 4800 pixels resolution and certainly the gears are no changing to Android 4.0 tablet a rare sight with Indian manufactured tablets. Its powered with 1.2 Ghz single core processor and it includes 512 MB of RAM for the faster browsing and better performance. The tablet includes 4 Gb of internal memory so that you can store any digital data or content that you have for entertainment or business needs.

For the connectivity side this tablet comes with various options like Bluetooth, Wi Fi, 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps speed and its pre loaded with various apps like Facebook, Skype and Google Maps. Wammy Ethos tablet also comes with HDMI support as well and it comes with 3500 mAh battery which is quite a good improvement from its predecessor.

Wammy Ethos is priced at Rs 8,999 for sale in India only. Now consumers have lot many options to choose the right tablet and alternatives at any given price.

    I bought my first tablet, using Android 2.3 for about $160, my last runs ICS, has a A9 CPU, and only cost me $110. A Google Nexus is $199, and a Kindle Fire can be bought for about $125 on special.
    In order for me to consider buying something like this, the price to me would have to be a lot, lot less than $90 USD.
    As time goes on, Android tablets are becoming more and more affordable

    same RAM as my 2.5 year old EVO, can overclock my EVO to 1.2GHz, 480×800 (i hope it’s not 800×4800), same as my EVO, can get ICS on my evo, WHY is this tablet even getting attention?
