All thanks to the impressive specifications it features at a price point of mere $150.
Now, to curb the competition in the increasing smartphone market, Xiaomi is planning to launch the successor of the Redmi Note 2 called as Redmi Note 2 Pro with the premium build at the same price point. Today, the new smartphone is certified by TENAA revealing an all metal body and a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear side below the camera sensor.
According to the TENAA listing, The Redmi Note 2 Pro will feature similar specifications like the earlier released Redmi Note 2, but the only difference will be the metal-clad body and the fingerprint scanner. If the rumors are to be believed once officially unveiled, Redmi Note 2 Pro will be a good competitor for the likes of Meizu Metal smartphone that released earlier this week. The Meizu Metal comes with a full metal body and a fingerprint scanner accompanied with decent specifications and is also priced aggressively at $173.
