Xolo A500S Lite is the new smartphone in the market, and it is the lite version of the Xolo A500S, which was released last year in the month of August. This device is priced at Rs. 5499 and will come in to the market as an entry level smart phone targeting the budget phone segment. The handset gives a royal look with a leather finish and has the thickness of 9 mm and will be supporting many regional Indian languages.
The Xolo A500S Lite will be boasting 4 inch IPS touchscreen display with 2 point multi touch display with 800 x 480 resolutions giving a pixel density of 233 ppi. The device will be coming out of the box with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which is a bit disappointment as we are seeing many entry level Smart phones like the Moto E and Unite 2 coming with the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating system, which also supports dual SIM with dual standby.
The Xolo A500S Lite is powered by dual core MediaTekMTK6572 processor clocking at 1.3 GHz coupled with Mali 400 MP GPU and 512 MB of RAM. The battery on the back of the device is at 1400 mAh that will be powering the device. There is a 3 MP rear facing camera with fixed focus and LED flash and this rear camera is accompanied with a VGA (0.3 MP) camera. The device is capable of taking HD videos and can playback 1080p videos.
The Xolo A500S Lite has an on-board memory of 4 GB that can be further extended up to 32 GB via microSD card. The connectivity of the device includes 3G (21Mbps), Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The device also includes sensors like light, proximity and accelerometer. The device has a keyboard supporting 10 Indian languages for the user preference and also has a transliteration feature that will automatically convert the typed text in to the language that you want.
The Xolo A500S Lite will be coming with a leather finish and is priced at Rs. 5499 in India. The Lava 3G 415 has similar specification as this smartphone and is also in the same price range.
