Yota Mobiles has just announced that the much anticipated e-Ink based YotaPhone Android smartphone is going to be launched in December and this dual-screen beast device would be having a pretty normal display on the front, but reversing it would show a full sized e-ink display. “Until you see it, you won’t believe it”, says Yota Mobiles as it has recently showcased one of the most amazing and never seen smartphone which is a concept phone which is a half smartphone and a half ebook reader. One side of the phone is having the e ink screen while other half is a normal smartphone. The best part is that it’s a fully feature phone and mind us, it’s not at all a bring phone as it promises to give you the longest of the battery life on Earth. The electronic paper display (EPD), which is your personal space for information, images and interaction you always use and always need. This smartphone has also won the CES 2013 Award for its innovation.

YotaPhone has two screens which are linked together making a smartphone which has a dual display, one has e ink display and other has the normal LCD Display. This device comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8960 Dual Core 1.5 Ghz Krait processor, 4.3 inches of E Ink display, 4.3 inches of JDI Display with Full HD Display having the resolution of 1280 x 720 screen with the dimensions of 67×131(7.3/9.9) mm. If we talk of connectivity options then this device comes with the LTE (bands 3, 7, 20 MIMO), 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi (Direct), BT, NFC options along with the memory options of 32 or 64GB. Also, not to forget that this device comes with 2GB of RAM which runs on the Jellybean 4.2 firmware. Also, it has got the 3.5mm head set audio jack, 12MP rear camera, HD Front facing camera, gesture control sensors, Power and Volume Buttons, a sim card slot along with the 2100 Mah of Battery.

Though company didn’t mention that when this device will be launching, but unofficially as per the company sources, this device is slated to launch by 2013 year end. Also, the pricing is not yet revealed but it will be very competitively priced.
