The ZTE Nubia Z5 Android Smartphone with the 1080p HD display has been leaked by the PR manager of the company, and the pictures show one of the excellent looking devices of the recent times, with a white body and a large display. We have been hearing the rumors about the Nubia Z5 and this has kept adding to make a list of the specs that the device can have.
The official announcement of the Nubia Z5 was to be made by the company a month back itself, but we haven’t seen anything official except this leak from within the company. Now the news is that ZTE could make it official sometime during the next week, and the phone is supposed to have a 5-inch capacitive touch screen with a 1080p HD display, and the camera is going to have a 13 megapixel lens while the phone is going to have a unibody design, which is looking totally elegant with a lock key on the right panel, and the volume keys on the left.
This is nothing official, but the other specifications that are making the rounds of rumors include the 1.5 GHz quad-core APQ8064 QualcommSnapdragon S4 Pro processor, the pixel density of 440 PPI, a 2GB of RAM for the speed support, a 13 megapixel camera and dual speakers on the back side.
Having a large screen doesn’t mean the phone has to be large, as ZTE has kept the thickness of the Nubia Z5 at just 7.6 mm, and this could be an advantage where users wanted a larger but lighter device in their hands, irrespective of the maker.
The Chinese users would be the first ones to get this phone in their hands, while the International users might have to wait more to see if ZTE is targeting the device globally. The Nubia Z5 is a direct competition to some of the excellent 1080p devices that are in the course of release right now – Oppo Find 5, the HTC Butterfly (International Version of the HTC Droid DNA), and one of the successful large Android smartphones Samsung Galaxy Note II.
The camera of course is one of the factors where the other 1080p phones should see a big competition from the Nubia Z5, as the 13 megapixel lens should really capture some of the best pictures and something that a 1080p display should show off. As soon as we find some official information about the announcement of the phone, we’d keep you updated.
