Looks like this summer the Android space will get much more hotter as with the arrival of ZTE Skate is all set to launch in UK this coming season it seems evident. This phone which is dubbed as ZTE Skate was showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month in February 2011. With many other phones from the table of ZTE and also ZTE is all set to launch the tablet which is named as ZTE Light. So, it seems like ZTE has really big plans ranging from some cool smart phones to tablets.
So, what’s there in the latest ZTE handset and why so much of hype created around this is what you might be thinking now, so let’s check out this smart phone and with what specs this phone comes with.
Specifications and Features:
If we look at the 4.3 inches size along with the resolution of 480 x 800 pixel display then you can only imagine of HTC Desire HD as it exactly resembles that handset and not to forget this doesn’t weighs too bulkier too as it just weighs 120 grams which is a fair enough weight with 4.3 inches size of the screen. Also, additionally this one comes with the TFT capacitive touch screen with 16 Million colours which also comes with accelerometer sensor with UI and auto rotate feature, proximity sensor for auto turn off and also most importantly this one comes with the capability of multi touch support for pinch to zoom feature. Other standard smart phone features include HSDPA, HSUPA capability, WiFi with b/g support, Bluetooth v2.1 support with A2DP capability which comes with the Enhanced data rate capability along with the micro USB v 2.0. With 800 MHz processor this may not be that powerful as one with the HTC Desire HD or even Samsung Galaxy S but it’s very much has an edge over the Samsung Galaxy Ace as this one comes with a super 4.3 inch screen along with same processing speed that of Ace.
With A-GPS support, Digital compass, SNS integration, wide range of video and audio codec support. Along the bottom of the handset there are three buttons that you’ll use to control the Android operating system — a home key, a menu button and a back button. This version has support for Flash player 10.2, so you can watch Flash movies in the Skate’s browser. You’ll also have access to the Android Market, so you can download thousands of apps in the Android Market place for free as well as the paid apps.
Multimedia, Battery and Memory:
With a 3.5 mm jack, a powerful loudspeaker for playing out the loud music and with a wide range of codec support this phone promises to provide the best of the lot entertainment guarantee. There are still no details on the battery power and strength but it’s expected to be in line with either 1200 Mah or 1500 mah battery strength. If we talk of memory then this phone comes with the practical capability of storing unlimited phonebook as well as the contacts memory so that you will never feel short of the memory space. On top of it this phone comes with a free 2GB of memory SD card along with the maximum expandable memory capability of up to 32GB which is huge and is now almost offered by every smart phone from the basic smart phone to the high end smart phone.
Final Word, Price and Availability:
With a 4.3 inched screen this one is really a steal but it would have been best if it had at least a 1GHz processing power instead of a 800MHz powered processor and also most importantly the price at which it’s priced is the best part of this phone as this one will be priced around 200$ and will definitely give a tough fight to Samsung Galaxy Ace and Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 which have been launched recently. It will be soon available in the markets of UK from this summer and soon will be launched in other parts by the Q3 11. This phone is perfect for those who are feeling short of cash but willing to taste the smart phone at the best as this one comes straight out of the box with the 2.3 Gingerbread Android’s version.
Since it’s a ZTE Build, it will be quite affordable,
Powerful and an all new Android Version of 2.3,
5MP Camera with a huge 4.3 inched display.
Not as quick as other high end Android Smart phones
