BLU Products, a Miami-based mobile phone manufacturer, known for selling unlocked devices in the US, has announced today the new BLU Studio Energy smartphone. Apparently, Blu Studio Energy is a rebranded Gionee Marathon M3.
BLU Studio Energy Smart Phone has a 5-inch IPS display with 1280*720 pixels (300 ppi) resolution. The phone comes with 1GB of DDR3 RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded MicroSD card up to 128GB. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek’s quad-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz, which comes with Mali 450 GPU as the dedicated graphics card.The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
On the camera front, BLU Studio Energy Smart Phone has an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The device comes with various connectivity options such as 3G HSPA+ Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.
BLU Products has included many features in the camera app of BLU Studio Energy Smart Phone such as “Eraser” and “Face Detection” while the UI itself comes with features like “Face Unlock”, “Smart Gesture”, “Game Zone”, etc. This phone is 10.4mm thick, and it weighs 180.29 grams. At the back, the phone is a huge 5000mAh battery. BLU Products claims the phone’s battery offers 33.7 hours of talk time and 3.8 days on standby.
