Dell, one of the largest PC makers has launched its Dell Venue 7 tablet in India after its official launch in October 2013 in the US market, for the pricing of $150. Venue 7 has a 7 inch display as its name suggests, with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating system. The tablet is priced at an affordable Rs. 10,999.
Venue 7 tablet is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2760 processor coupled with 2 GB of DDR2 RAM inside an 7 inch IPS display with multitouch. The device has a 3 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP VGA front facing camera for selfies. The device will be running on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is a 3G variant (which is optional) and has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n which is a main thing in all the tablets for accessing to the net and download all the apps required from the Google play alongside Bluetooth and GPS.
The Venue 7 inch tablet is having an on board memory of 16 GB and it can be extended up 32 GB via micro SD card. It has the usual 3.5mm audio jack and is packs a 4100 mAh battery on its back to power the device and giving up to 10 hours of HD playback. This hand set is 9.6 mm thick and weights 235 grams.
