Since the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system is the latest one, HTC Vigor is updated with the same but Google Nexus Prime has someother plans. The much talked Ice Cream Sandwich OS aka Android 4.0 would be a reality with the launch of Nexus Prime and that is what which makes Nexus Prime as the prime talking point. Still the launch of both HTC Vigor and Google Nexus Prime awaits it and until then it’s not a reality.

Just like HTC never dissatisfies it customers when it comes to camera, the HTC Vigor is very impressive handset with 8 mega pixel rear end camera to take some of the amazing video at 1080p HD and photos with crisp clear quality. The dual LED flash would allow users to take photos in low light conditions as well. Coming to Google Nexus Prime at 5 mega pixel, in comparison with HTC Vigor it’s just Ok.Yes, both the phones includes a front facing camera for video chat.

Google Nexus Prime phone would weight 150 grams approximately when compared to HTC Vigor which weights more than 160 grams. The HTC Vigor would come with HTC Sense 3.0 user interface, something which HTC lovers would like to taste and typically just like other HTC mobile phones the body would be of same plastic.

Nexus Prime gets Verizon as the exclusive possible network carrier and the unlocked, carrier locked devices would be soon made available with the pricing as the launch is very near. Being a top talked devices it’s would be priced at $ 299 in contract with Verizon. HTC Vigor

The Verdict

Also it would be great competition as the Apple iPhone 4S too is lauched very recently so we can expect some tough fight between OS to go and the handset to choose from. HTC Vigor might just be lacking in specifications when compared with Nexus Prime but until we have those handsets available, we can’t comment which one to go with. So I leave this to the readers of Android Advices.
