The Android 4.0 is the greatly improved version of Android available for many devices. Though Android 4.1 is Jelly Bean is launched very recently many devices from all the manufacturers are still to be upgraded to Android 4.0 ICS. Following is the LG Prada P940 update to Android 4.0 as LG Germany has announced it officially.
The Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade is been launched by LG Prada phone. These updates are right now available in Germany and it would be soon carried over to other countries as well where LG Prada 3.0 has debut. This updates are available only via LG Mobile Support Tool the PC connectivity for LG powered phones. This only supports Windows based PCs only.
Please make sure that you have taken a back of important things and data on your phone because during this update all these would be lost. Once you backup, download the Mobile Support Tool from the LG official site. Now install the same and start the application and you all need to install the USB driver as well. Now connect your phone using the USB Cable to the PC and once when then phone is recognized in the PC tool, click on “Software Update to start”.
Please be patient as the update will take 30 minutes of time. Once the updates are downloaded it would be applied. Your phone would be restarted and you would be able to see a complete new OS on your phone with good number of features added. Though LG Germany officials didn’t release any data sheet of improvements added, we are sure it would include improved performance and support.
