Meizu has been surrounded by the rumor mills for a while now about the launch of its upcoming flagship smartphone called as Meizu Pro 6. The brand has recently confirmed that the upcoming Meizu Pro 6 will be the first device to come with Helio X25 deca-core SoC. Now, it seems like Meizu is also in works of a budget smartphone, the successor of the Meizu M2 Note named as Meizu M3 Note (Blue Charm Note 3). The company has recently confirmed that it will hold two events in April, and we can expect the mid-range M3 Note to launch in one of their upcoming events. Huang Zhang, CEO of Meizu, has revealed some information about the device stating that the M3 Note will feature slim body, large battery and also promised to reveal more details in coming days.
As per the rumored specifications, the Meizu M3 Note will feature a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display as earlier seen on the Meizu M2 Note. Under the hood, the smartphone will come powered by MediaTek MT6755 Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor clubbed with mali-T840 GPU and 2GB/3GB of RAM. We can also expect the smartphone to have two storage variants 16GB/32GB of inbuilt storage and will also include a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory. The smartphone is supposed to run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Flyme OS 5 overlaid with guaranteed upgraded to Android Marshmallow in future.
The handset is expected to come backed by a big 3500mAh battery that will easily last for an entire day of mixed usage. The Meizu M3 Note will also include the traditional mBack physical home button below the display similar to other Meizu devices. The mBack is also expected to be integrated with a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. If this comes true, the M3 Note will be a direct competitor for the likes of recently launched Xiaomi Mi 4S. The above mentioned information isn’t accurate, so we advise you to take this with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates in coming days!
