Vivo Y31A with 4.7″ Display, 4G-LTE & 8MP Camera Certified by TENAA

Earlier, we exclusively spoke about a high-end smartphone from Vivo called as Vivo X6s Plus passing through TENAA certification with a 5.7-inch display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and other premium features. Recently, a new affordable smartphone from Vivo called as Vivo Y31A has been certified by TENAA revealing the key information and design of the device. The upcoming smartphone is the successor Vivo Y31 that launched last year.

As per the TENAA listing, the Vivo Y31A will sport a 4.7-inch (960×540 pixels) qHD IPS display with 234ppi as pixel density when compared to the Vivo Y31 that features 4.7-inch HD display. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to come powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz clubbed with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The device supports dual sim dual standby and will run on Android older 5.0.2 Lollipop based FunTouch OS laid on top. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128GB.

On the camera cordon, the device will sport same 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front shooter for video chats and selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. It is one of the major difference as the Vivo Y31 lacks 4G-LTE connectivity. The design of the device is similar to its predecessor, and there is no information about the battery capacity. The dimensions of the smartphone measure 137.24 x 68.7 x 8.39 weighs around 141 grams and is listed in White color option. The company is yet to confirm any of the above details, but as the smartphone has now received the TENAA certification, we can expect the official launch soon. A quick recall, Vivo has recently launched a mid-range smartphone in its Y-series called as Vivo Y51L in India priced at Rs. 11,980. The smartphone features 5-inch qHD display, 64-bit Snapdragon 410 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP primary camera, 5MP selfie snapper, 4G-LTE support, 2350mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based FunTouch OS 2.5 laid on top.
