The Indian mobile company Celkon has released a new Android smartphone dubbed as the Celkon S1, coming with the support of Dual SIM and will be running on Android Jelly Bean and is priced at Rs. 14,999. The Celkon S1 is said to be coming with some good specifications, easily enough to compete with the Micromax Canvas Turbo and the Gionee Elife E6.
The Celkon S1 is powered by a Quad Core processor clocking at 1.5 GHz and will be coupled with 1 GB of RAM under the 5 inch Full HD with OGS and IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The device will be running on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean Operating System and has a 13 MP camera on its rear and an 8 Mp camera on its front for video calling and selfies. Moreover this device is a 3G variant and has other connectivity’s like the Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and micro USB v2.0.
Celkon S1 has a 16 GB of on board memory and is powered by a 2300 mAh battery on its back. The device features the usual 3.5mm audio jack and will be having the sensors like Proximity, Light and G-Sensor. The Network bandwidth on 2G is GSM 900/1800 and on 3G network it is WCDMA 2100 MHz.

Other details are not given for now but the device will be available for MOP- Rs. 14,999. This device will be coming as a mid range device but it has a 13 MP camera on its front and whooping 8 MP camera on its front.
