How to Update Google Nexus 7 with Liquid Jelly Bean 4.1.1 Custom ROM Firmware

Procedure to Update Google Nexus 7 Tablet with Liquid Jelly Bean – Alpha 6 firmware:

  • You can turn ON your Nexus 7 tablet in the recovery mode by opening the ROM Manager app in your device and enter the phone in the recovery mode. If the app is not there, the same can be downloaded from the Google PLAY Store.
  • Open the ROM Manager app in your phone and select the option of “Reboot into Clock Work mod recovery” after flashing the Clock Work Mod recovery image in your device.
  • In recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the firmware package which you have placed in the device. It will take around 4 -5 minutes for applying the update. Please don’t interrupt the process of firmware update as it may even brick the device.

Note: If at all your Google Nexus 7 Tablet phone gets in the boot loop sequence then you need to turn off the device and then reapply the update from the start. To turn off you can reinsert the battery or say you can long press the power button.
