All-Metal Huawei Enjoy 5s with Fingerprint Sensor Officially Launched at $187

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei launched the battery-focused Enjoy 5 smartphone with huge 4000mAh back in October for just $157. Now, the company has launched the successor of the smartphone called as Huawei Enjoy 5s in China, but this time with more focus on design and security of the device. It will be available for sale in China from December 10th and is priced at 1,199 Yuan (approx $187).

Coming to its specifications, the Enjoy 5s flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6753T octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 128GB.

The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and perfect selfie images. It features hybrid sim slot with dual sim dual standby support and comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. The device also includes a fingerprint sensor placed on the back for enhanced security of the smartphone.

The device sports an all-metal unibody design and is very slim measuring just 7.6 mm at its thickest weighing around 135 grams. The handset comes backed by a smaller 2200mAh battery that is claimed to last upto 200 hours of standby time. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based EMUI 3.1 Lite OS out of the box and comes in Silver and Gold color variants. The Enjoy 5s will be a good competitor for the likes of recently launched Redmi Note 3 and Meizu Metal smartphones that come with even better specifications and are also available at an affordable price.
