Earlier, we exclusively talked about the launch of Huawei Enjoy 5 smartphone in China priced at $157. The device came with mid-range specifications with main USP being the huge 4000mAh battery. Now, the company all set to launch the successor of the Enjoy 5 called as Huawei Enjoy 5s. Huawei has also sent out media invites for the launch of the smartphone in an event scheduled for December 3.
While there is not much information about the upcoming smartphone, the teaser image suggests that the Enjoy 5s will sport a full-metal body and comes with hybrid SIM slot where you can insert a microSD card instead of first SIM. The device was also recently spotted on GFXBench listing with model number Huawei ABC-UL00 revealing few set of specifications of the upcoming handset.
The smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD display and comes powered by Hisilicon Kirin 935 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with ARM Mali-T624 GPU. The device comes with 3GB RAM, 64GB of built-in storage with microSD card slot for further expansion. On the camera section, it sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for selfie lovers.
Connectivity options on the dual sim capable device include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and microUSB port. As the earlier launched Enjoy 5 comes with a 4000mAh battery, we can also expect the company to include more or less the same battery in Enjoy 5s. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and also supposed to include a fingerprint sensor that is a must for securing the device these days.
Once officially launched the Enjoy 5s will be a good competitor for the likes of Redmi Note 3 and Meizu Metal smartphones that come with almost similar specifications and are also available at an affordable price. Stay tuned for more updates about the official launch of the device!
