LeTV the Chinese company that has not only evolved from the media business to multiple ventures has now launched a new smartphone dubbed as the Le 1s. The Le 1s is one of the first devices from the brand after they made a debut in April 2015. According to LeTV, they were the first brand to launch a device with the USB Type-C connectivity that has become the mainstream now.
Coming to the specifications, The Le 1s sports a full metal uni-body and flaunts a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) In-Cell display. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage.
On the camera front, the device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF technology that company claims can focus in just 0.09 seconds and is two times faster than the iPhone 6s. It has a 5MP front shooter for video calling and selfie clicks with 85-degree wide angle and f/2.0 aperture. It has dual sim dual standby support with dual 4G-LTE connectivity and includes other basic connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a USB Type-C port.
The smartphone comes with a bundle of unique features like the LIVE application that takes you live within a matter of seconds. It does have an IR Blaster; hence a Remote Control application also comes pre-installed on it. The main highlight of the smartphone is the fingerprint scanner with unique mirrored finish that is bound to recognize the fingerprint in just 0.15 seconds and is one of the fastest fingerprint sensors available.
The handset boasts a 3000mAh battery that can last for complete one day on mixed usage and also supports quick charging. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based eUI 5.5 out of the box. The dimensions of the device measure 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5 mm and weighs 169 grams. The Le 1s is priced at 1099 Yuan (approx $173/Rs. 11,200) and will be sold via JD.com with the first sale of 3,00,000 units will be held on November 3rd.
