The LG L80 Android smartphone from LG has been made official in Indonesia, and it will join the L-Series III of smartphones with L40, L70 and L90, which were unveiled at the MCW 2014 event held in Spain, Barcelona this year. The LG L80 is launched only in Indonesia for now and is priced at IDR 2,500,00 which is approximately equal to Rs. 13,100. This device was announced by the company on its Facebook and Twitter pages and the company even detailed the specifications of it. This LG L80 will be coming with the popular LG Knock Code feature that was given to the L Series III range. The L80 will be coming in single SIM as well as in dual SIM variant.
The LG L80 features a 5 inch IPS touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution, and it will be running the latest Android 4.4 KitKat Operating system. The device is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with unspecified chipset and this is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. There is a 2540 mAh battery on the back to power the device.
LG L80 has a 5 MP rear facing camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing camera. The on-board memory of the device is at 4 GB and it can be further extended with MicroSD card slot. The connectivity of the device includes 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, GPS, and Wi-Fi. It also comes with pre installed apps like Numbuzz offering LG L-Series III smart phone owners 100 minutes of free international calls to any of your friends in US.
