Oppo launched Mirror 5s with Crystal Patterned Back-Panel and Android 5.1 Lollipop

Update: Oppo Mirror 5s, which was spotted last month, has been officially announced by the company in Taiwan. It is expected to launch in other Asian countries by the end of this month. It has a diamond shaped pattern on back of the device, which distinguishes from the other mid-range devices. The devices has a metal frame gives more strength to the device. It runs on Android 5.1 based ColorOS 2.1 out of the box.

The device sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280) display and it has dual SIM dual standby support along with 4G LTE connectivity. It is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and 2GB of RAM. Other features include 16GB of expandable storage, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front-facing camera and a battery of 2,420mAh capacity.

The exact details of the pricing and availability are still unknown, we can expect this to be a mid-range device and comes available in other Asian countries as well.

Last week, images and specs of the alleged Oppo Mirror 5 were leaked. Now, according to a new leak, the device might be called as the Mirror 5s.

According to leaked specs, the OPPO Mirror 5s sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 MSM8916 SoC with 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The dual-SIM phone comes with a 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2,420mAh battery.
The Mirror 5s measures 143.4 x 71.2 x 7.6mm and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Color OS 2.1 UI. There is an 8 megapixel camera on back, and a 5 megapixel on front side.

Oppo is about to launch a new Android smartphone, Oppo Mirror 5. The new smartphone is expected to feature a design similar to that of the Oppo R1x, with a diamond pattern on the rear side. The Oppo Mirror 5 is likely to be a mid-range smartphone, just like its predecessor Mirror 3.

The Oppo Mirror 5 expected to feature a Pure Image 2.0+ UI while the front camera gets a 5MP shooter with Beatify 3.0 functions. The Mirror 5 is expected to come with a 720p display. There is no info on the processor that will power up the unannounced Oppo smartphone, but the handset is said to get 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.

The device will supposedly also run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. As is the case with other Oppo devices, we can expect the Mirror 5 to run Oppo’s custom Color OS software. The Oppo Mirror 5 is expected to be available from late June / early July in 20 markets, starting with Taiwan. The smartphone will have 3G and LTE versions, with the latter being more expensive.
