It has been only a month since Oppo officially introduced Mirror 5 and now they are ready to roll out their latest flagship device Oppo R7 Plus the larger version of the Oppo R7. Both Oppo R7 and R7 plus are available in China since May 2015, but the latter is now launched in India and will be available from September.
It features a 6-inch full-HD (1920 by 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and support for Gloved and Wet Touch Input. And is bigger when compared with R7 that comes with a 5-inch 1080p display. Both devices R7 and R7 Plus is made out of metal (a magnesium-aluminum alloy, to be precise) with 2.5D curved edges that give a charming look to the device. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8939 615 octa-core processor alongside Adreno 405 GPU paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage with microSD card support for expansion upto 128GB.
Coming to the camera, It sports a 13MP Sony IMX278 camera at the rear side with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP OmniVision OV8858 front shooter with f/2.4 aperture. The device comes with dual flash, and other features include Ultra HD, Beautify, slow-motion and many other modes for perfect picture quality. It supports dual sim functionality and connectivity includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port.
The device comes packed with a whopping 4100mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Color OS 2.1 out of the box. The dimensions of the device measures 158 x 82 x 7.75 mm weighing 192 grams and will be available in Golden color.
The highlights of this device are, there is a fingerprint sensor placed below the camera on the back side of the handset with Touch Access, and it is a more efficient method for unlocking and encryption. VOOC Flash Charge with which 5minutes of charging will give you the power of 2hours long call and new Flash Shot for ultimate image quality. Oppo R7 Plus with these high-end specs will be a fierce competitor for the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in the markets which it is releasing.
