Panasonic has officially launched the ELUGA Z smartphone, today. The phone has been priced at Rs 13,490 and will be available for purchase from the Second week of July, 2015. The company is offering various color options including Champagne Gold, Ivory White & Midnight Blue colors.
The Eluga Z, a Metal Blade Design smartphone with a 5 inch Oncell HD AMOLED is powered by an Octa Core processor coupled with 2GB RAM & 16 GB internal memory. The device is manufactured with a high precision metal grinding technique giving it a Blade like Metal frame & solid strength as claimed by the company.
The smartphone comes with a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording capabilities. The 5 MP front camera adds a face to all video chats & 3G video calling. The device is backed by a 2050mAh of battery.
The smartphone features single-hand operative & stylish FitHome interface along with various gesture based functions like Double Tap to Lock/Unlock, Smart Swipe functionality where in a combination of number of fingers & direction of swipe can help user perform various predefined functions providing ease of access.
Panasonic claims to showcase it Industrial Design capabilities where it manufactures the 5 Inch smartphones body with complex CNC based metal grinding technique giving it a Blade like Metallic finish & solid strength. The device sports a unique Fabric Texture Back cover featuring a 6.8mm Sleek design with only 120gm for Light-weight experience.
ELUGA Z is designed keeping in mind Indian Customers, where Indian Regional Languages support for diverse Indian customers, USB OTG Support for accessing media through Pen-drive or Hard-Drive, Turn-by-turn Navigation for location access, Wi-Fi Direct & Bluetooth™ 4.0 EDR for sharing media with friends.
