Procedure to Port Touch Wiz UX on Samsung Galaxy Tab (Clock Work Mod method):
- If you are not comfortable with the Odin procedure and would like to make use of CWM Method to flash the Touch Wiz then we have this method too. But before applying this update you will have to ensure that you have rooted your Galaxy Tab which can be done by following the instructions carefully.
- First up you will have to download the Update.zip package for your phone and then you will have to choose the zip package from the phone in the recovery mode of your phone.
- Now, once you root the Galaxy Tab, you will now have to proceed to enter the tab in the recovery mode. To enter the Galaxy Tab in the recovery mode, you will have to long press the volume up key, press Menu as holding both the buttons press the power button to start.
- Once you enter the recovery mode, you will now have to make the NANDROID Backup from the menu after which you will have to choose the options like “Factory Reset / Wipe, Wipe Cache” and then you will have to Wipe the dalvik cache too so as to ensure that all the cache files are erased.
- Once all the above processes are done, you will now have to navigate to the option of “install zip from sdcard” and then you will have to choose the Zip package which you have placed the same in your phone. So, as soon as you select the file, you will see that the installation process will be initiated and then the device will be rebooted as soon as the installation process is done.
That’s it you have now successfully ported the latest Touch Wiz UX on your Galaxy Tab.
