Procedure to Root htc EVO 3D Android Phone:
- Before proceeding you will have to disable the fast boot from your phone. The fast boot can be disabled from the path of “Settings > Power > Fast boot”.
- After this you will have to visit the HTC Beta Key Generator Site from where you will have to select the option of “Download for Windows” after which you will see a message box wherein you will have to fill in the details as mentioned in the below screen capture. The details which you need to enter are HBOOT version, Device name & Serial number. Once you are done with that, you need to click on the “Generate Key” to generate the key.
- Now, once you are done with the above step, you will have to connect the device with the computer using the USB Cable which you got at the time of purchase.
- After this you will have to open the revolutionary application which you have downloaded from the above link and also need to keep the Beta key handy as you will have to enter in the beta key which you got from the above step.
- Now, the revolutionary beta tool will try to root the phone and also will turn Off the S along with which the custom Recovery image too will be installed. Once this process Is over, you will then see that the device will be restarted. Please note that just in case if the device fails to get rooted then you will have to try the whole process again as some users have reported that after repeating the steps, the rooting process is achieved.
- Please note that the whole process will take around 15 minutes, so you need to ensure that you are not pulling out the USB cable which is connected to the computer till the process is completed.
