Battery left in your device should be more than 50% and also this will work only in the unlocked versions of LG G4,

Procedure to Root LG G4 Android Phone:

First up, you need to make sure that the device is bootloader unlocked and also install ADB in your computer.

Assuming that TWRP is already installed in your device, download super SU root package in your computer and place the same in your device.

Connect your phone to computer with the help of original USB cable and open command prompt to enter the below mentioned command;

adb reboot recovery

In recovery mode, you need to tap on installing the superSU file which you have placed in the device by selecting “install zip from sd card” and confirm the same for flashing it.

Once the device is rooted, you need to select “Reboot System Now” for rebooting the device.

Now, download “Root Checker” app from Google Play Store to check on whether the device is rooted or not.
