Samsung is all set to launch the TIZEN based smartphone which is dubbed as I8800. After getting away from the BADA OS, Samsung wants to make sure that it doesn’t go public without doing homework as its still pleasing developers to adopt the platform and make as many apps as possible. While Samsiung was supposed to stun the market with the launch of TIZEN earlier last year, Samsung will soon now be launching this all new platform very soon. In the latest, an all-new device has surfaced which is codenamed as “Redwood” and is dubbed as the model number as I8800. With over 900 Million Devices running on Android OS, it’s clear that Samsung wants to try something different now as this might be a game changing new product from Samsung which can become a running hit or a flop.
You can have a look at the device which is mentioned in the image above and runs on the TIZEN 2.1 OS which also comes with the S-Voice, Wi Fi Direct along with the S-Beam as well. If you wanted to compare this device with the Galaxy Device, then this TIZEN device too comes with the similar looks as it comes with the same Home Key as other device comes with. Unlike most of the Android smartphones which still have the partial support with the Flash, TIZEN OS is built on the HTML 5 from the ground up and comes with the 720P display.
Tizen Launch event is scheduled to happen in Q3 2013. We will be bringing all the latest info from the World of TIZEN here on AndroidAdvices. This device will be given to 500 TOP developers tomorrow at Tizen Developer Conference in Greece. Just like Android, this platform too will be the open platform as required customizations can be done.
