How To Update Samsung Galaxy FIT S5670 to XWKQ2 Gingerbread 2.3.4 Firmware

  • After selecting the OPS file, you will have to tick on the “One Package” option in the “Options” field and then you will have to click on the “One Package” and choose the file with the name S5670XWKQ2.tar.

NOTE : Tick all the options in the “Option” Field that are “One package”, “Auto Reboot” and “Protest OPS”.

OPS – BENI_v1.0.ops

One Package – S5670XWKQ2.tar

Select Files XWKQ2

  • After checking the entries correctly, you will now have to click on the “Start” tab which is just located above the “Select OPS” option. Please note that as soon as you click on the Start tab it will take 5 – 10 minutes to complete the firmware update process and its highly requested on not to interrupt the process as this may brick your phone permanently.

  • After a period of maximum 10-15 minutes, the updation process is completed and you will have to wait till you see home screen in your phone and also you will have to watch out for Odin as you will see that a Blue colored box will be glowing up as shown in the below screen shot,

So, that’s it you have now successfully updated your firmware of XWKQ2 2.3.4 Gingerbread. For checking on which firmware you are currently on, you will have to go to the Settings > About Phone > Firmware Version where you will find the version of Android OS where it will show XWKQ2 2.3.4.  You can clear that by selecting options Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition after which you need to reboot your device by selecting reboot system now after which your Galaxy FIT will be rebooting and again you will have to set up your Google accounts etc. So, let us know if you face any sorts of issues as we will see to it that all issues are resolved.
