Along with the ZTE Blade V7, the company has also unveiled the smaller variant of the smartphone Blade V7 called as ZTE Blade V7 Lite at the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona. The smartphone features all-metal unibody design and comes with more than decent specifications. Like the Blade V7, the V7 Lite will also be available in selected markets such as Mexico, Spain, Germany and Thailand from Spring 2016. The company is yet to reveal the pricing details of the smartphone.
Talking about the specifications, the Blade V7 Lite flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with 2.5D arc glass laid on top and 294ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, it packs 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM for smooth performance of the device. It supports dual sim dual standby and features standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie clicks. Interestingly, the front snapper is also accompanied with LED flash and is sure to attract crazy selfie lovers. The device comes with 16GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot.
The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor at the back of the unit for enhanced security. The handset comes backed by a 2500mAh battery and runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The dimensions of the device measure 146 x 72.5 x 7.5 mm and will be available in Silver and Gold color options.
