They introduced half a dozen smartphones in the Alcatel Smart series and best among those phones were Smart 995 smartphone. We also had Alactel Smart 908f phone which comes with a dedicated Facebook key to allow users to quickly connect with the best social networking site in the world which everyone uses. Alcatel Smart 908F SmartPhone
Smart 908F is another smartphone, purely simple and ascetic launched by Alcatel. Straightaway coming to the specifications of Smart 908f smartphone it has 2.8 inches QVGA TFT screen measured diagonally providing a 262k color display. It’s an entry level smartphone released by Alcatel powered with Android operating system. The version of Android OS included in this smartphone is Android 2.2 Froyo which might soon receive 2.3 update. It comes with a HSDPA connectivity option with 7.2 Mbps speed and for internet access you can make use of any incoming Wi Fi signal through LAN. The a GPS option allows user to faster location of the phone and the added 2 mega pixel camera on the rear side allows users to take photos at decent enough quality. The phone can be automatically orientated with vertical and horizontal display via accelerometer and it has Google Chrome, Opera Mini to surf the internet.
It has got micro SD card by which users can add extra memory to the phone and it includes playback of mp3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA format playback. Also with that it also introduces Bluetooth 3.0 A2DP allows users to share music, photos and more files with your friends wirelessly. Since this is loaded with Android operating system which is powered by Google officially, this comes with various free Google Services like Gmail, Google Maps, Google Earth, YouTube, Google Picasa and lot more. It’s not possible to enable Wi Fi tether in this smartphone as its not available in Froyo Android 2.2, yeah its available in Android 2.3 Gingerbread but we have to wait for the update officially by Alcatel.
