Korean Giant Samsung Electronics is all set to showcase the Flexible displays in the upcoming Mobile Mega event that is Mobile World Congress which is slated to happen later this month. Samsung has earlier showcased the latest Youm Range of Flexible displays in the recent CES 2013. Though the name resembles more with the Nexus Q, don’t get confused with the same as this Galaxy Q is in line with the smartphones which will be featuring the first flexible display. As per the leaksters, its expected that Samsung will be giving model number as GT – B9150 Smartphone, though the specs list are still unknown.
If everything goes well then Samsung will be showcasing this and will announce the launch of Galaxy Q with 1080p display. As per the leaksters, Samsung might launch Galaxy Q with dual 5.3-inch 1080p AMOLED displays, a 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 2GB of memory, 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras and a 3500 mAh battery. Though, the concept sounds amazing but we will have to wait and watch on about what are the specs and features of this device which Samsung will be coming out this year as earlier in the past too Samsung has showcased the Flexible displays in CES 2011.
The best part is that there are no visible leaks or tests done by other mobile manufacturers as of now on the Flexible displays front and in fact Samsung might just come up with the first device which might feature the bendable display which might come out with AMOLED or OLED Displays with Flexible capability. Till the time the clarity about the flexible devices phone arrives from Samsung, stay tuned to more updates as there might arrive some surprise on March 15, when Samsung is expected to come up with its next device which is probably Galaxy S IV.
