HCL Me X Gingerbread Tablet launched in India at Rs 10,490

HCL Me TabletThe India’s computer giants HCL Computers has stepped in the tablet market segment with the launch of Me range of HCL Android tablets few months back. HCL introduces 3 tablets during this news of their jump into the tablet market segment and these tablets are priced from Rs 14,000 till Rs 33,000.

Breaking the barrier, HCL has announced fourth addition to the Me series by adding Me X tablet priced at Rs 10,490. The HCL Me X tablet is available for purchase in the market starting today.

The HCL Me X tablet has 7 inches capacitive touchscreen display with a maximum resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. This would be powered with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. To provide quicker response time it come with 1 GHz single core processor along with 512 MB of RAM. It includes 2 mega pixel camera to provide as the need for the camera lovers.

It includes 4 GB of internal memory and if you think that is not enough for you, then HCL has added a microSD card slot using which you can expand the total memory of your phone expandable up to 32 GB. Using 3500 mAh rechargeable battery powers this handset and includes the options of Wi-Fi. For those who don’t have Wi-Fi, they can make use of 3G access via USB Dongle anywhere in India.

HCL has preloaded  this tablet with free apps like Think Free Office, Cleartrip, 99acres on this devices. Unfortunately HCL has removed the Android Market place from this tablet and have placed Me App Store and Me Connect.

The HCL Me X tablet will now become the part of cheap Android tablets like Beetel Magiq, Reliance 3G Tab, Spice Mi 720, Lenovo IdeaPad and strong competitor in the form of Amazon Kindle Fire. The stronger the competition, its good for buyers as its price saving for them.
