Huawei Honor 7 Plus (KIW-AL20) with 5.5″ FHD Display & 3GB RAM Certified by TENAA

Huawei has been very successful this year as it gained a lot of popularity all over the world and also made huge profits. The company has also become the third largest smartphone vendor in the world and is giving tough competition for the tech giants like Apple and Samsung. Huawei launched the Honor 7 smartphone in India that comes with high-end specifications back in October priced at Rs. 22,999. Recently a new smartphone from Huawei with model number Honor KIW-AL20 has received the TENAA approval confirming the design and key specifications of the device.

Honor KIW-AL20

We can expect the Honor KIW-AL20 to be the successor of Honor 7 that launched earlier this year, and will be called as Honor 7 Plus. As per the TENAA listing, the Honor KIW-AL20 comes with a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD display offering a pixel density of 401ppi and the latest Gorilla Glass protection. It will come powered by 1.5GHz octa-core SoC most probably the all new 64-bit Kirin 950 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device will feature hybrid sim slot that lets you use microSD card instead of the second sim.

On the camera front, the device will sport a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for video calling and selfie lovers. It comes with 32GB of onboard storage and microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128GB. It supports dual sim dual standby and will include connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB port.

The images of the device depict that it will sport a full-metal body and also include a fingerprint sensor on the back of the handset. The dimensions of the smartphone measure 151.3 x 76.3 x 8.15 mm and weighs around 158 grams. The handset runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and will come in Gold, Silver and Grey color options. Although the company officially confirms nothing, as TENAA certifies it we can expect the upcoming smartphone to be unveiled in coming days. Stay tuned for more updates!

To recap, Huawei has recently launched a new mid-range smartphone in China called as Huawei Enjoy 5s priced at $187. The Enjoy 5s features 5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6753T 1.5GHz octa-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, 13MP main camera with LED flash, 5MP front shooter, 2200mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The Enjoy 5s sports an all-metal slim body and also includes a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security of the device.
