The domestic smartphone manufacturer, iBall is known for launching affordable smartphones and tablets in the Indian market. Today, the company has launched yet another budget-friendly smartphone in its Cobalt series called as iBall Cobalt 5.5F Youva. The smartphone priced at Rs. 8,999 is designed exclusively for youth and is available for purchase via all the leading retail stores across the country. Along with the smartphone, the company is also offering a bundle of two separate back covers and a protective cover.
Regarding specifications, the iBall Cobalt 5.5F Youva flaunts a 5.5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with 267ppi as pixel density and 2.5D arc glass laid on top of it. Under the hood, it packs 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. The device supports dual sim dual standby and includes standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.
The iBall Cobalt 5.5F Youva comes with unique ‘Video Eye Control’ functionality that automatically plays and pauses the video by tracking the user’s eye moments. It also has other interesting features like Miravision Technology, HotKnot, Smart Controls, Smart Wake-up gestures and also supports 21 regional languages. On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for video calling and crisp selfie images. The handset comes backed by a 2600mAh battery and is rated to deliver upto 10 hours of talk time and upto 300 hours of standby time. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and comes in Black color variant.
A quick recall, iBall has recently launched an entry-level 4G-LTE enabled tablet called as iBall Slide Gorgeo 4GL priced at Rs. 6,999. The tablet features 7-inch IPS display, MediaTek MT6580 quad-core SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 8MP primary camera, 5MP front shooter with flash, 4G-LTE support, Android 5.1 Lollipop and 3500mAh battery. The iBall Slide Gorgeo 4GL also comes with Y-cable that allows users to connect a USB device and also charges the tablet simultaneously and also supports 21 regional languages.
