The domestic smartphone manufacturer, Intex has recently launched a pocket-friendly 4G-LTE capable smartphone called as Intex Cloud 4G Smart. The device comes with all the basic specifications required in a smartphone and will be placed in the low-end category. The device is priced at Rs. 4,999 and is available for purchase online exclusively via Flipkart.
Talking about the specifications, the Cloud 4G Smart comes with a 5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA TFT display with 65.16% screen-to-body ratio and 196ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, it comes equipped with Spreadtrum SC9830 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz accompanied with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
On the photographic section, the device sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie clicks. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE/3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The device comes with 8GB of onboard storage out of which only 4GB is available for customer use and also includes a microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.
The handset comes backed by a 2000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 6 hours of talk time and upto 150 hours of standby time. Like other Intex devices, the Cloud 4G Smart with lots of pre-loaded apps like Cleanmaster, NewsHunt, Quikr, Opera Mini, Matrabhasa and many more. The dimensions of the device measure 144.4 x 73.2 x 9.75 mm weighs around 156 grams and comes in Black and White color options.
To recap, Intex has recently launched a low-end smartphone in its Cloud series called as Intex Cloud Champ priced at Rs. 3,999. The smartphone features 4.5-inch FWVGA display, MediaTek MT6572X dual-core SoC, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, 5MP primary camera, 2MP front shooter and 1700mAh battery. The Cloud Champ also comes with lots of pre-installed apps like Intex Zone, Hangout, Google Drive and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.
