At Lenovo Tech World 2016, Motorola has announced the MotoMods modules such as Insta-share projector, JBL SoundBoost and Power Pack Moto Mods, along with the flagship modular handsets Moto Z and Moto Z Force. Now, there is an another device spotted on the GeekBench benchmarking website with the model number XT1635. It might be called as Motorola Moto Z Play. This year, the Company had released Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, and Moto G4 Play. According to specifications on the benchmark site, it seems to come with a budget-level smartphone targeted towards affordable price in range.
According to rumors, It will sport 5.5-inch IPS display with HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) resolution and offers a 401ppi of pixel density. The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with octa-core processor clocks at 2.02GHz along with Adreno 506 Graphics. It will provide a fast connectivity, vibrant displays, Powerful and efficient performance. It will be running on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow laid on top which is mentioned on the benchmark site.
The handset will support Cat 7 LTE network with VoLTE. In the camera department, it will come with a 16-megapixel primary camera with dual LED flash which will record videos upto 1080p at 30 frames per second and has a 5-megapixel front snapper for selfies and video chats. The handset will also be compatible with MotoMods. It might come with a 16GB internal storage which will further expandable upto 200 GB via microSD card slot and 3GB RAM.
The device will feature a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device and some applications as well. It might pack with a 3600 mAh capacity battery with a quick charge support for fast charging. It has a 5.9mm thickness. As of now, there is no official information about the Moto Z play smartphone. The company had launched five smartphones this year including two Moto Z-series handsets.
