For all those who were not so satisfied with the last few official firmwares for Galaxy S2 smartphone, here comes another update of ICS Android 4.0.3 to spoil your choices and this time I personally feel that this one is the new best of the lot. Though, this update was released for O2 specific devices, all thanks to intratech for removing the branding thus making it a Global firmware. This all new firmware is dubbed as XWLP3 4.0.3 firmware.
Rooting Information: Applying this update doesn’t mean that you need to root the device before & also the device will not get rooted after applying this update. Just in case if your device is rooted, after applying this update the rooting access will be revoked. We will soon come up with the rooting process at the earliest.
