Once it’s done, you need to connect your phone to the computer using the original USB cable to copy this Zip file as it is in your phone. Ensure that you are not placing the files deep into the memory card or else it won’t be detected in the device. Once you copy the file, disconnect the connected USB cable.
  • Enable the USB Debugging from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging” after which you need to tick on the USB Debugging option as shown in the below screen capture.

  • In recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the ICS RC 3 Zip file which you have placed in your phone. It will take up to 15 minutes for the update to get applied in the phone. Just in case if it takes longer than 20 minutes then you need to re insert the battery and then re-apply the update by following the steps from the start.

Note: if your device is continuously getting restarted on its own then you need to repeat the whole process which is mentioned above so as to update the phone. Despite following all the instructions properly if  it refuses to get updated then you have no other option to get back to XXJVU Firmware version.
