The global handset maker, ZTE has today launched an affordable premium handset in its Blade series called as ZTE Blade V Plus in Australia. The smartphone features sturdy build with all-metal unibody and also comes with impressive specifications. The device will currently roll-out only in Australia and is available for purchase exclusively from JB HiFi stores and online priced at $399 (Australian Dollars).
Coming to the specifications part, the Blade V Plus flaunts a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS On-Cell display offering a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone features hybrid sim slot that lets you use microSD card instead of the second sim. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop of the box. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage and also supports microSD card for expansion upto 32GB.
On the camera cordon, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper for video calling and selfie lovers. The camera of the device can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. It includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0 port. The device also features a fingerprint sensor placed on the back for enhanced security. The handset powers a 3000mAh battery that has the energy to last upto 9 hours of talk time and upto 220 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the device measure 155.3 x 77.2 x 8.55 mm weighs around 164 grams and comes in White color variant. There is no information about the launch of the smartphone in other markets. The smartphone features 5.2-inch (1080p) Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 13MP main camera, 8MP selfie shooter, 4G-LTE connectivity, 2200mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The smartphone sports an Eyeprint ID iris scanner for enhanced security and also features AKM4375 Hi-Fi audio chip with 7.1-channel Dolby Audio technology for the quality audio experience.
